Can I Have a Natural Birth After a
C-Section?

Question: I had a C-section 3 years and 8 months ago. I'm nine months pregnant now. Can I still have a natural birth with this one?

Answer: Good news- Yes! You can deliver naturally even if you've had a prior C-section. This is called a VBAC- vaginal birth after cesarean. There are many, many awesome success stories of women who have given birth naturally after C-sections. Many of them have even had more than one previous C-section.

There are many studies indicating that it is safe to have a VBAC. I won't go into a ton of detail here on all the research, but I will offer you a very helpful link on this subject.
